Privacy Policy
Digital Fashion News Archive (the "Service") is operated individually by fidefumi (Hidefumi Ogino, the "Operator"). This policy explains how the Service handles personal information.
1. Information we collect
- When you log in: your email address; if you log in with Google, the name, email address and profile image URL provided by Google, and an ID that identifies you
- Membership records: whether you are a member and when you joined
- Single-device login: an identifier for the device you last logged in on, and the time
- Inquiries: what you enter in the contact form
- If paid membership starts: payments are processed by an external payment provider. The Operator does not receive your card number, only the payment result and IDs issued by the provider.
2. Why we use it
- To provide login and member-only pages
- To prevent account sharing and misuse
- To answer inquiries and send important notices
- To improve the Service (in aggregated form that does not identify you)
3. Data stored in your browser
Display settings (theme), search counts, login state and a temporary copy of member data (for faster reloads) are stored in your browser (localStorage, IndexedDB, etc.). The temporary member data is cleared when you log out. We do not use advertising cookies.
4. Third-party services
The Service uses the following services, which receive information such as your device's IP address.
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Hosting): login and data storage. Data is stored in Japan (Tokyo region); login processing may take place on servers outside Japan.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr: fonts and the program for the 3D view
- Article thumbnails: loaded directly from each article's source site
- Google Forms: inquiries
- A payment provider (if paid membership starts; it will be named in this policy at that time)
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not share personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. Use of the services above is limited to the purposes stated here.
6. Retention and deletion
Account information is kept until you ask to close your account. To request deletion, use the contact form. We will delete it within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep it.
7. Your requests
We respond to requests for disclosure, correction, deletion or suspension of use after confirming your identity. The Operator's address will be provided without delay upon request.
8. Security
Member data is set so that only logged-in members can read it. Administrative keys are stored in a private location.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will announce changes on this page.
